Then why not just focus on NTSC-J? If it's effectively the same, and the mod can be applied to NTSC-U later if such a solution is found, it seems like pointless labor.
Yes, this was what I was talking about. The OP seems to want to mod JP audio over EN audio, which Japanese version of the game can switch to as is. So I was wondering why not just NTSC-U to auto-default to JP region instead to get to effectively the same result?
What a strange project. The Japanese version of the game already includes both voice-over options, and both text options. I've played Other M with Japanese audio using it and it worked flawlessly. Why not just integrate the new translation into that version of the game instead?
Stumbled upon this while looking it up on Google, thank you rs1n for the answer.
That being said, Alexander guy's reply awakened some sort of primal rage in me. Why the hell did he even post it if he knows nothing about the topic, and wasted 30 seconds of my precious time on this God's Earth to...
Hello, I'd like to point out a silly mistake in gameid.txt: it misspells Yakuza 2 as Yazuka 2. And trust me, I'm not trying to insert a wrong .iso, the title ID (SLUS_217.69) matches the game.
It's definitely not your mistake, but can you please update the archive to adress it?
Try re-doing it, probably some error in the repacking proccess. I did everything like in the Xenoblade X undubbing guide and it worked fine for me.
But, I never dumped discs, I got my gamefiles from Wii U USB Helper. Maybe this will help.
Hi, I bought a used JP region DSi with TWLM++ pre-installed, with previous user's settings and games. Can someone tell me how to quickly wipe all his saves & settings and also update all the relevant programs without accidentally breaking the hack?
Is there a way to play US versions of Wii games shown as incompatible on this list https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/WiiU_VC_Wii_inject_compatibility_list on a EU console? I want to play Scarface, but I only have access to a US version, which won't work on a EU system as-is.
For anyone who doesn't like to use FTP (like me) after opening decrypted just copy the needed files to some other place on your Vita, and then transfer those copies via USB. Worked for me, installation works as intended.
When I try to downloadf the titlescreen from the database for GBC games it just gives me a 404 error. Is it supposed to be this way or there's something wrong?
I feel like an idiot, but I can't find it. Nowhere on GBARunner2 wiki page there's anything about it. I also looked through everything regarding TWPatcher and Twilight Menu. Can you please point it out for me?
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
