I'm a bit lost. If I understood correctly the firmware is encrypted and tied to the id to the flash. How many people are there with a working picofly and where did they even get it when the original dev cancelled the release. IIRC someone said if you change portions of the code it won't work so my guess is they hardcode the flash ID then checksum the code with the ID in it and if the code is modified it quits. The checksum code is obfuscated to make it harder to circumvent. That would be a basic measure to ensure you...- lemongrab

only ps5 updated to latest firmware can go on psn, jailbroken ones just don't use psn or they risk getting flagged or banned, altho spouting profanity in online play alredy does that -
