Hacking YAOSM Works with SSBX Dual Layer

You can upgrade by DVD with Cyclowiz. You cannot upgrade by DVD with any kind of PIC processor, however, because only the eeprom is writable by anything but a flasher. The atmega series of chips can upgrade by DVD as well (OpenWii).

Hacking YAOSM Works with SSBX Dual Layer

If you're looking for discs, the Memorex DL +R I got were on sale (and Memorex are usually just rebranded Ridata) and they work great.

Hacking YAOSM Works with SSBX Dual Layer

I just wanted to let you guys know that both the SSBX retail copy of Brawl and the DL dump that was just released by caravan both work amazingly well on YAOSM 2.0. I burned the backup disc using IMGburn default settings on a Ridata DVD+R DL at 4x speed and it works great. No lockups, no...

By the way, I just want to add that YAOSM is also confirmed to work with JP Brawl on an NTSC system. Bell is the man. YAOSM is the best chip out there and its fucking free!

Hacking SSBB NOT WORKING WITH WIIKEY NTSC-U *PROOF BY ME!*

It would be great if someone with the game could try to dump it with Friidump and post the error. Us devs could then start debugging and post updated versions for people to try. Hit me up on email at [email protected] if you have a copy and can attempt to dump with Friidump. I also have...

Gaming Super Smash Bros. Brawl Official Discussion

I can personally vouch that I have both a Wii and a DS in my place right now that grab WiFi from about 700 feet away with a WRT54g with a single 7dbi antenna attached. And it goes through about 6 or 7 walls, some metal. By the way, you say when you're a floor away you imply that having a LAN...

Gaming Super Smash Bros. Brawl Official Discussion

Haha, do some research? Hrmm, lets see, what research could I do... Oh yeah, there is that wifi antenna up on my house that is beaming to a tower about 15 miles away. I get less than 2-3ms when I ping the gateway at the tower. Worst case scenario I get 10ms. And I just pinged my router and...

Gaming Super Smash Bros. Brawl Official Discussion

Buy a LAN adapter for less lag? Are you serious? Wifi latency is less than 1ms. If you pay $30 to remove less than 1ms of latency you are wasting your money.

Gaming SPOILERS Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion

I just want to add that YOASM 1.8 and up has dual layer support as well. Bell, the creator of YOASM, theorized that +R/+RW/-RW support is what is screwing up original copies. You can read about it over here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/yaosm/63877-pl...-help-bell.html

Gaming SPOILERS Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion

Somehow I don't think this is a new protection. I think Nintendo got the hint when SMG's protection was cracked within a few days. They probably spent many resources trying to develop that protection and it was beaten so fast. I'm not saying Brawl won't have the SMG protection (it would be easy...

Gaming Wifi Wars Friend Code Database

Hey guys, Long time reader, first time poster. I figured this would be a good time to tell you guys about the site I've been working on since Brawl is going to be leaked soon. Wifiwars.com is basically a Nintendo competitive gaming hub. We just opened registration for our Pokemon leagues and...
