Pokemon Yellow added to first generation recompilation library, voxel mod updated to support "3Dish battles"

there's no mention of how well it runs and the framerate counter is disabled, he also plays with like 3x speed enabled, though even through the video i can tell it isn't running at 60

Pokemon Yellow added to first generation recompilation library, voxel mod updated to support "3Dish battles"

i have a max, i just re-tested it at 0.1.46 and 1.3.1 of the voxel mod and it still has insane stutters, runs at 30fps and loads incredibly slowly, though it's a more stable 30fps than before, a far cry from the 60fps i'd be expecting. Considering the odin 3 can run it at 120fps (unfortunately...

Pokemon Yellow added to first generation recompilation library, voxel mod updated to support "3Dish battles"

it's made with LÖVE, so if there's a LÖVE compiler for switch there probably isn't too much work involved, even the android version still just uses the default icon

Pokemon Yellow added to first generation recompilation library, voxel mod updated to support "3Dish battles"

idk if it's a me issue but it runs extremely poorly with the voxel mod on my ayn thor, an insanely unstable 30fps with a ton of stutters, i'm guessing in it's current state the switch won't be able to use the voxel mod

Official Windows 11 Xbox emulator internal data has some interesting content

this one's xefu based, which predates xenia and xemu, since it's a highly modified version of what they used on the xbox 360, then ported to the xbox one. there's even various xex files regarding the fact it's xefu, so there's likely very little actual community emulator involvement with this...

Remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas announced, Fallout 5 still in development

not sure, I think bad story and gameplay are cited, looking it up, apparently it was also a fairly low quality game with repetitive gameplay, and wasn't really an rpg

Remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas announced, Fallout 5 still in development

76 really isn't as bad as people say (anymore), though the only one i know people say to avoid is brotherhood of steel

Remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas announced, Fallout 5 still in development

if oblivion remastered is any indication, they'll give up by the second patch, oblivion only got 2 patches and is still in virtually the same state it was at launch

Remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas announced, Fallout 5 still in development

the linked article is from 2015, but if 16 is the current number, out of nearly 300 employees (285 as of 2025), yeah i'm not surprised that current obsidian is nothing like what they're praised for in the past... it's like bungie, virtually nobody that made halo 3 still works there (there's...

Remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas announced, Fallout 5 still in development

judging by how well avowed and outer worlds 2 went, chances are high there isn't a single person left working at obsidian that worked on new vegas

Remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas announced, Fallout 5 still in development

sigh hopefully they don't abandon these two in a horrid, unoptimized, broken state like they did for oblivion

A multi-platform port for Pokemon Emerald is in the works, supports Windows, Linux, and Android

android version is currently armv7 only, rip, newer devices that lack 32 bit support can't play this, which is ironic since it targets android 16
