    The co-op part has been removed. probably from all other handhelds as well. It seems only the consoles have the co-op play.

    It is said the 3DS is region locked. I had interpreted that to mean just 3DS games, but it might mean DSi enchanced games and DS games as well.

    Hacking USB MicroSD reader

    I had the same trouble with a Duracell microSD card reader. After downloading drivers from Duracell. it did work for awhile, but stopped working. The duracell microsd card is till working fine. Just get another card reader.

    Misc Strange wifi problem

    Try using the Advanced Setup in the Internet section of Settings on the DSi. I found I had to use this with some friends' routers. Also I had to enter the data manually most of the time for most connections.

    Check your System Options Make sure you save ext is .sav , not .nds.sav under file system setting. You can reveal the files on you microsd card by setting the file list type to nds + sav

    Hmm, I soft reset and a window came up saying I had a counterfeit Ak2i, but a hard reset cleared it. I'm using 1.8.6.

    I have an retail cart, but haven't noticed any lag so far. I haven't opened up Survival mode yet, but I will load my save back onto my cart to compare.

    Yes, there is hardware that will let you copy save files to and from your cartridge and computer. It's called the NDS Adaptor Plus. There may be others, but this is the one I use. I have cartridges for most of the games I like enough. http://www.hkems.com/product/nintendo/0907.htm

    AK2i does slow slightly when a lot is going on in game. I tried the retail cart and there is no slowdown.
