    Update: turns out it's because of the cios's. Don't know the fix, but I experimented using a Wii I had lying around.

    The old one was 8GB, the new one is 232GB.

    The old one was FAT32 by default, but the new one, I had to use a tool named 4DDiG to format it to FAT32.

    So I got a new USB for my Wii, but WiiXplorer, WiiMC, SaveGame Manager GX don't read it. USB Loader GX says it's not initialized, though. The same happens on my old USB as well. On a launch Wii, WiiXplorer and SaveGame Manager GX work fine on both, WiiMC reads the old one, and USB Loader GX...
