    If it hasn't been mentioned already, it would be nice to have a Homebrew app that downloads rom hacks to the 3ds from a repository that makes use of Luma's built in layeredFS.

    Please do. I was thinking of doing this myself but I don't know my neighbors wifi password, and my phone carrier doesn't let me create mobile hotspots for free. That way we can eliminate it as a factor.

    It appears than any public LocalFriendCodeSeed_B's have been banned as well.

    The method PF2M used to help actually worked for me to salvage my NNID. It doesn't help with unbanning consoles though, and we don't know if there are any consequences for using his method.

    From what I have heard, it is still functional. However if it does get banned, OP has some more at his disposal from someone posting them here on accident.

    Would this method be able to work for unbanning temporarily, and accessing the ID still attached so that I can unlink it?

    Currently there is no tutorial to be used yet, since the method to be able to use the Wii certs with the 3ds is still being developed. All we can do is be patient and wait for a thread to pop up in the near future.

    It is not an NNID ban. It is a console specific ban, so a format won't do anything.

    So it's possible that this new ban for using the 1234 DeviceID isn't a ban on the NNID. I am still able to use the eshop and everything on my WiiU. I am just locked out of using Miiverse on my PC.

    I actually just checked the miiverse site, and it turns out that my NNID is now banned. I recieve the Error code 121-5936 when I try to login through my browser. FML. There goes all of my legitimately purchased games, and my ambassador games. Over $100 out the window. -_-

    I recently got permabanned on my NNID from playing Pokemon Sun/Moon early, and to prevent the chance of getting a ban on my NNID itself since I am still able to use it elsewhere, I am trying to unlink it from my 3ds and link a new NNID until there are better methods to circumvent the 022-2812...
