Hacking Emulation Homebrew What were your favourite DS Homebrew from back in the day?

Same! Moonshell was extremely powerful at the time and it was basically my main music/video player. Other than that I remember being very impressed by BeupLive and Pocket Physics. SnemulDS is also very high on my train of thoughts since it worked so good very early on in the DS’ livecycle.

DSpico - An open-source flashcart for the DS(i)

I have added DSPico support to TwilightBoxart if people are looking for covers for their games & emulated games. You can run it from your DS/DSi directly if you want as a companion app. :) This should basically cover any console the DS will ever run and this is probably my final version unless...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

I've updated my boxart downloader because it felt sad to let it go and it was a nice practise for multiplatform and DSi code. :p https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-twilightboxart-nds-gb-a-snes-nes-gg-boxart-downloader.548400/

Homebrew How to not melt my Wii while letting my Wii wait in Standby for competitions

Black wii's (post 2008) should run cool. It should not be a problem to just let it crunch for a while.

libogc revealed to have used code stolen from Nintendo

This is such an incredibly dumb and overblown take. Absolutely pointless to throw hands over lol. This will only trigger people who have no idea how any of this works as you can see in this thread alone. Losing respect by the day for Hector, sad to see actually as there are a million other...

New Xbox 360 Hypervisor exploit (software based)

This is AMAZING to see in my time. Absolute godlike reverse engineering. Even though the usability from a user standpoint is a bit low this is such a huge technical feat and would break the internet back in the day. Absolute god tier skills and such an interesting readup...

Hacking Anyone know how to fix the FM20.dll error in HowardC vcbrylt?

It says so in the picture: "If you don't have office.. blablabla" So Office is needed to run it. If you are unlucky you might need an older version as well. (Since the program is made in VB6)

    "Dangerous WAD" Folder

Back in the day I uninstalled my Wii system menu using one of those WADs as I thought I'd be invincible with bootmii on boot2. Little did I know it would remove vital system files as well lol. Since I was (one of?) the first to do it I had to create a custom piece of homebrew to restore...
