    Got a post about it on my DSLinker forum ( which no one's ever looked at ) with a solution to this: So technically there's no way to get rid of the problem other than avoid it and hope a ROM comes out later that will work.

    I really don't think it should even only last for two weeks. I have some saves back from July that I could play today if I wanted. But yeah, sounds like a battery problem. Sorry, bud.

    Why, is the Fire Link cheaper quality than the N-Card? It would seem to me that if they use the same firmware under the same conditions, that the one with more memory would be the better choice.

    I know that on the DSLinker it had an option about saving after you turn it on. There was a file called lastsave.sdb ( don't quote me on that ) that updated the save file for that game every time you turned it on. Maybe that option is off? I know on the Linker there was a folder called DSYSTEM...

    I always put my games in a separate folder, makes it easier to diagnose problems when they happen.

    Did you do a full format before you put your newest firmware version on there? If you've never done a full format, do one and then reinstall the firmware. If you did one before, you shouldn't need to do one again.

    Hacking DS Linker error - please help

    Yeah, you really shouldn't be having problems playing games with the Auto-DLDI and now auto-save features of the DSLinker. You shouldn't really need to format it, the auto-save type feature should kick in, so either change the save type to something you're certain that works, or change it to auto.
