    Your wiikey connections might be loose. Gonna tighten if if u're using a wii clip. test it before you close ur wii again

    What loader / cIOS and settings are you using? Random freezes tends to happen when using hermes cIOS. try using cfg usb loader + cIOS Rev 19 on IOS37 for best result. Alternatively, burn it on disc and play from it. Most reliable.

    Wiikey 2 System Menu 4.1E CFG USB Loader 57beta4 cIOS Rev 19 Runs without a glitch with default option. No need to force pal 50/60.

    Just install preloader / priiloader to block updates. You don't need them, or have someone accidentally trigger it.

    i'm on cios rev14 and never had that problem. it does says reading disc occasionally but goes away in 2-3 secs and game continues. prob 1 reading disc screen per 2hr play. same for usb loader GX and config usb loader.

    :-) Reckon what farcry requires is a confirmation. Regardless priiloader or preloader, i suppose they will both work good for you if you know what you're doing. For someone like farcry asking questions on selecting prii or preloader, i don't suppose the incremental functionalities matters to him...

    The media type / brand contributes to over 90% of all Disk Read Errors. I've been a victim myself using TDK dvd-r at 4x speed. Works for the first few days and start running into errors after.     I use Sony DVD-Rs and always has solid burns, no errors watsoever. they are cheaper than verbatims too. I've heard some new verbatims are made in a different factory and may have issues. check out the list here: http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/Wii_DVD_compatibility_list

    I have to say this usb loader and this thread has been most helpful. Got an old USB HDD 120GB sitting ard collecting dust and just decided to get it connected to the wii yesterday. Worked brilliantly with WBFS for games and another FAT partition to keep cover images and configuration / themes...

    I have a wiikey 2. And it works for me. Direct load from disc channel. I have preloader to bypass any updates too.

    it's clearly outline on the first post. use any of the methods there. i prefer the patch method with my wiikey 2 and direct disc channel loading. :-)
