    that does a good job of explaining, and at the end it mentions in home routers. i dont have an in home router, i have NYU's connection. maybe that could be the problem? other than that i dont see why i cant click on the infrastructure settings

    Yeah. does it matter that i am on my computer's internet system? i go to nyu, so the only available internet i have is their internet.

    everything has worked for me except clicking infrastructure. I click on wifi setting, and i am set an ad-hoc, and the infrastructure bubble to click on is unclickable. its a light gray. i tried connecting with ad-hoc, but it didnt work. any suggestions?
