I started with the original MM games, then I got both MMX collections and both MM collections on switch. after that I moved on to MM11 and then I finally started on the Zero and ZX games.
Probably the reason I love the MMZ games is because they play a lot like the Gunvolt games. which would make sense since they were both made by Inti Creates. -

Mega Man 3 feels like a slog around the time you take on/finish the repeat levels, but it paved the way for longer MM games
