I don't think it has a chip. There wasn't any physical changes done to the switch. I think it was soft modded? I have to inject a payload whenever it restarts using a jumper tool. I did try holding power for 30 seconds but there was no effect.
model number on the back says HAC-001
but it doesn't seem to have power. Don't I need to have charged it in order to inject a payload? (sorry, I'm really naive about this stuff). Even when I connect to my pc, there doesn't seem to be power.
I'm hoping that someone can help me. My modded switch is stuck on a black screen and I can't seem to get it to power on. I'm not sure if it's permanently broken, but I'm hoping there's some way to resuscitate it. For the past six months, my switch had been sitting unused due to my having some...
I'm trying to load games from my usb drive using USB Loader GX through the Homebrew channel. The USB Loader GX is v3.0 rev 1271. I have installed d2x v8 final base 57 version 21008 into slot 249 and d2x v8 final base 56 version 21008 into slot 250 using d2x cios installer v3.1.

Is there any way to get the english translation of Seiken Densetsu 3 working on 3ds? I've tried it in the snes9x emulator, but it runs painfully slow. And using the virtual console wrapper results in the screen showing up upside down and scrambled.
Is there a way to only copy the update or dlc to my sd card without copying the base game? I'm using an SD card that's too small to hold both the base game and the additional dlc at the same time. I've already installed the base game to my external hard drive and so, I only want to copy the dlc...
I'm not seeing any option for "Directory". The only choices I see are:
Quick Menu
Load Core
Load Content
Information
Restart RetroArch
Configurations
Help
Quit RetroArch
I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but I've been looking through the options and I don't see anything about Directory.
Hi. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I've just modded my 3ds and set up a few retroarch emulators. Is there any way to change the default directory that appears when I load a rom so that it knows where my roms are actually stored, rather than having to navigate to it each time?
I've installed some RetroArch emulators on my 3ds. Can someone tell me how do I change the settings for the directories that the emulators looks at when opening a rom?
I've installed LibRetro Snes9x 2005 and Nestopia. Is there any way to change the default directory where the emulators look for roms? Right now, it always seems to start in the root directory and I'd like to change it to the actual directory where I'm storing my roms. Thanks!
