Hacking if an r4i works on dsl will it work on dsi?

While I don't have any experience with it, I would hope that the speed with which it was released would be reflected in the diligence with which it's kernel will be supported in the future. I would recommend looking into non-R4 solutions; it would probably be best to buy a card by a group proud...

Hacking So..... I emailed the R4i-SDHC team.....

Their website does not say they support the DSi 1.4. Perhaps you have confused the R4i-SDHC website with the R4i SDHC website. EDIT: My mistake, it looks like they are indicating 1.4 compliance with the note "Note: The perfect solution NDSi Host V1.4 upgrade version, 100% support the latest...

    Hacking NEW R4i-SDHC email !!

Do you suppose this meant today, or next friday?

    Hacking R4ds, R4i, or R4Ultra?

Given that the original post is probably referring to an old, non DSi compatible R4, this point is probably moot, but in the event of a future upgrade to a DSi, I'd hold off on recommending the R4i-SDHC until at least the end of the week, just to make sure they follow through on the 1.4 upgrade.

    Hacking R4i SDHC www.r4isdhc.com

I notice that you refer to both r4i-sdhc.com and r4isdhc.com. Those are two separate websites, and they refer to separate cards. Looking up the domain information, they aren't registered to the same company, and the latter has fake email addresses as contact information. Other topics have...

    Hacking NEW R4i-SDHC email !!

Could you point to the thread with the email indicating that their plan was to release a new card? I know that that has been the gist of most of the speculation, but looking back through most of the R4i-SDHC topics, I can't find one email that says any more than "soon."

    Hacking R4i SDHC (R4i-SDHC.COM) Update

I don't believe for a second that you've used *all* the different carts over the last couple of years, but the part of your post that I don't like is that your post reads like ad copy.

Hacking OMG R4i-SDHC FIX IS ON SITE!!

That was another R4 clone team. There's been a lot of speculation about whether or not the R4i-SDHC solution was going to be another card, but nothing more than "soon" or "two weeks" or "we're working hard" from the email correspondence.

Hacking R4i SDHC with fw 1.4U?

I came here as soon as I checked the site, I'm hoping for the best.

Hacking I emailed the r4i sdhc team...

That mistyped site has since updated to outright claim to work with the 1.4 firmware. Of course, if you look up the domain registration information, it doesn't match up with the R4i-SDHC.com registration, and has fake contact email addresses.

Hacking 1.3 vs 1.4 upgrade path

My understanding about the firmware suffixes e and u (and j) refer to the region (Europe, US, Japan), as opposed to lineal updates to the firmware. As others have posted, 1.3 works, 1.4 requires an updated flash cartridge (either the card can have it's software updated, or the card itself has...

    Hacking R4i SDHC (R4i-SDHC.COM) Update

Well, I'm not surprised that a new card would be necessary, but I'm hoping that the current cards continue to be supported as the non-DSi R4-SDHCs are. I am not as quick to accept the R4iSDHC.com as an official site; as looking up the domain information for the two sites, they don't match up...

Hacking if an r4i works on dsl will it work on dsi?

You know, through mid-July, they had been releasing updates at least once a month. It stands to reason that the 1.4 kernel is the reason for the interruption in their regular updates, and that as they had also been updating their non-DSi card's kernel as well, they'll probably continue...

    Hacking Error updating R4DSi

Yes, based on the fact that you are calling it an R4-i, and refer to the R4i-SDHC with a firmware version not listed on the R4i-SDHC, it sounds like you are mixing R4s. It is worth noting that the main reason why people on these forums recommend against the purchase of R4 branded cards is that...

Hacking if an r4i works on dsl will it work on dsi?

I've heard great things about the m3i zero, though I don't have any personal experience with it. I do have experience with the R4i-SDHC (red box), and I can say that as of yet it does not support DSi with 1.4 firmware. The best thing you can do is pawn it off on someone with a DS lite with no...
