    Not at all. Those are just mere suggestions for those who want to keep it permanent. I would recommend as the guy above me to just invest in a cheap R4 or TTDS (which is compatible) and use NTRBootHax

    EDIT: I screwed up my last edit and the original message.:hrth: If you used Emunand in the past, try deleting the Luma config and re-enabling Emunand auto-boot in the Luma config screen. (I assume you can reach the Luma config)

    My best guess would be that something within the nand changes and the validator gets mad. As long as they're all the same size you should be safe. Can someone back this?

    After inspecting your image, it looks like a contact is bridged around here http://imgur.com/a/c0wMF I may just be pointing out the obvious, though. A cheap soldering iron doesn't always make a good connection as the solder doesn't get hot enough. Try scrubbing with a toothbrush and a bit of 99%...

    I'm wondering what those 2 specific contacts are. I assume they're on the left terminal as running a screwdriver through them while powering up crashes the device.
