    The bin file should be automatically deleted from the microSD after flashing the iEDGE. That's what happened with mine and I've had no problems.

    I forgot to say earlier that I renamed the rom to exactly the same filename that is written next to common filename in the readme file in the EdgeBootUpdate v1 folder. This probably won't make any difference but thought I'd mention it anyway.
