    thanks for your help, i will try the slower burn. just out of interest, after i followed thoses instructions my wii still says 3.3e?? do i need to downgrade to 3.2? The only thing that has changed is my Wii will start to play the backup unlike before i downgraded.

    right i have follwed those instructions and all woked fine! thanks my backup disc is now getting further and loading but i get "the disc cannot be read", likes its dirty or something, do you think thats down to the DVD's im using? I have got Sony DVD -R thanks
