    The Switch 2's Joy-Cons will not have Hall Effect sticks

    I'm hoping that they are using their own hall effect-ish design, and frankly expect it. Now, I never had drift with my day-1 joy cons, so I'm pretty lucky 😁 but I got a very slight drift on my Xbox One controller. Not using regular hall effect ones makes sense considering the magnets.

    I'm so sad that these kinds of games haven't gotten a grip on me yet - I just struggle to get into them. I guess I haven't had that a-ha moment or that it clicked for me yet. This one looks very lovely, and I adore the graphic style. Great write-up!

    The Game Awards 2024 - Astro Bot announced as Game of the Year

    I had a feeling Astro Bot would take home the GOTY this year honestly. It looks really fun. Felt *very* Mario Odyssey in terms of feeling - but turned up to 11 when it comes to fanservice, with all the cameos and stuff. Wish I could play it :D
