    Ivy the Kiwi (J) works, just disable soft-reset for that game (not the global one).

    That one, eh? I tried using that theme on my wood. I think the problem lies with the font color. The calendar clearly shows up, and it highlights what day and date it is, it just doesn't show the numbers for some reason

    You don't need to include DOWN in the ingame soft-reset. So its just L+R+START+SELECT. It won't always work though, because some games don't even include ingame soft-reset. Anyway, the DSi (U) Alice in Wonderland works fine on wood.

    Softreset does NOT work. Ingame softreset maybe, but not the one we're talking about.
