Could you post some screenshots of this config running on the Switch? I'm curious.
Never mind, this was meant for emulator use not Switch use, stupid me. :rofl:
Oh, I see. I haven't been using his preset so I didn't know about this. Seems like shadowStr handles the shadows cast by a light source (i.e the sun). Those values that DunArd has set do seem very harsh and crushes the shadows :wtf:. Thanks for the visual examples, by the way.
Yeah, the max...
Pretty sure it's this one:
shadowStr=1.8
Default is 1.0
I don't think it's necessary to decrease the dynamic resolution to half. Default settings were already at 0.75 and with the sharpening removed you may have slightly more headroom. I'm pretty sure you can even increase it above 0.75 if...
I think it's this line, it was mentioned either in an earlier post or the XC2 graphics thread:
toonOutlineWidth = 2.3
I'm not sure what the other settings do though. I have a few samples, don't mind the weird artifacts around the characters because I have FXAA instead of TMAA on. Of course, this...
That's weird. These are definitely the settings to adjust the shadow strength. Make sure you've placed the lib_nx.ini file in the correct place and that the settings are saved. You could also try to set the value to 0 if you have done everything correctly, to see if there is a change or not. Of...
Change this line:
shadowStr=1.8
The default is 1.0; I have mine set to 1.2. Even at 1.4, there were some areas that would be too dark but it's up to you how strong you want the shadows to be.
We all know the joy-con thumbsticks drifting is a problem. In my case, this problem extends even further to my Pro Controller. Sometimes, the thumbsticks on my Pro Controller would just nudge enough to keep it holding to the right or left. Also, I have seen that when I calibrate the thumbsticks...
So far, no one has found the settings for tweaking the LOD yet. It may be included in the config file but under some weird naming but I think it isn't there. I found out that tweaking other config files like object.conf has seen no luck either.
Not sure but certainly welcome for me, I always...
This is at the landmark called Agni Tablet. To the left side, you'll see the waterfall. Walk a bit forward and then you'll see these flickering light spots at the bottom. When TMAA is on, the spots are only visible when moving the camera not when it's still but the haloes are never there. In...
No, increasing it past 720p will crash the game. What I meant by "resolution increase" was the minimum resolution can be bumped up and thus get a more consistent image quality, sorry for being misleading. Maybe I should make a non-TMAA preset...
Yeah, TMAA does make things blurry, but it's also the best way to get rid of jaggies and shimmering. I've also noticed an issue when TMAA is disabled at the waterfalls of Makna Forest although they are minor, I hope similar issues won't appear later on.
FXAA is the sharpest but jaggies and...
I seen a bunny rabbit get swept up and taken by a hawk yesterday in my back yard, it left a bunch of rabbit hair in grass. Wild to see it fly off carrying a rabbit.
The other night was watching tv in my screened in porch, and heard something walking on my porch roof, thought maybe it was a raccoon, so I grabbed my rifle and went out to look, it was just a duck, lol
