    Hacking Mighty Channels

FYI, none of the PWAAs have worked for me in MC, although sometimes if I let the black screen sit long enough, they start up. The only problem is after they start up they're, well, Phoenix Wright games.

    Hacking Mighty Channels

I guess. Uneek + DI is a major, major accomplishment, but I still use it for wiiware games as a matter of exclusion. I use only it for a game (1) I really want to play that (2) Mighty Channels can't run. When you apply both of those factors, that's a pretty small universe. Marc_Max kicks ass.

Hacking Is The New Nintendo Channel Safe?!?!

I asked myself the same questions, although I wasn't smart enough to ask them until I was actually downloading the new channel! Fortunately, though, no worries!

Hacking My slow Uneek + DI installation

Ah, once again I have followed my five-step process: 1. I have a problem with my Wii. 2. I go crazy trying to troubleshoot it. 3. I finally ask for advice on the forum. 4. As soon as I hit "submit" on my post, the problem goes away. 5. I feel like an ass-hat. Actually, all I did was delete and...

Hacking My slow Uneek + DI installation

Thanks everyone for your advice and comments. I've kind of hit a brick wall in this. I ran chkdsk, defragged my disk, created a region.bin, deleted the config and cache files---but there has been no appreciable difference in speed. It doesn't seem like my drive is super, super slow--it loads...

LOL! I even read that post. Wonder why it didn't stick in my brain. Thanks...

Hacking My slow Uneek + DI installation

Well, I have a huge number of games installed now, but it ran just as slowly when there were only 20. I have run chkdsk, but I'll try to defrag and see what that does.

    Hacking Mighty Channels

Hey, Marc--- Here's something weird. When I installed Uneek on my USB drive, I decided to create a second emulated nand, since the one I used for MC was working very well and I was just playing around with Uneek. So, the Uneek nand is on the root of the USB drive and the MC nand is under the...

    Hacking Mighty Channels

I should probably leave this to people who know what they're talking about! :-) But--the answer I've consistently heard is that in Sneek/Uneek, virtually every IOS acts as a cIOS; therefore all of the cIOS voodoo you need for the actual Wii is unnecessary.

Hacking My slow Uneek + DI installation

I just wanted to check on something with you. I used ModMii to create a Uneek + DI install. (I chose the red SM theme, for what it's worth). Also, for what it's worth, I have a 640gb Seagate FreeAgent Go drive, single active partition, FAT 32, 32kb clusters. It more or less works OK, and I...

    Wonderful! What a great app!

    Hacking Snort48+

Ok...well, in that case I haven't seen any outstanding issues yet, even with the huge number of wads I threw at it. I saw you mentioned earlier that you might consider listing 15 titles at a time as opposed to 8. I support that--I've got over 50 pages to scroll through right now! Regarding the...

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

That's really interesting. I'm just a dope--but that lends credence to my speculation that all/nearly all of the "problem" wads are failing on read/write errors. I haven't compiled v3final yet, so I'm wondering if it would be better to stay w/beta 6? One other thing I wonder about. In your...

    Hacking Snort48+

I dumped nearly 500 wads into my Uneek build to try and break Snort's back and destroy its will to live. It handled it all pretty well, but I've only just started fooling with it. I'm not 100% sure that all of the wads are showing up but they might be. I haven't checked that very closely. I...
