Hardware I can move the left-side hinge of my original 3ds (not xl) slightly in any direction. Do I need to worry about it?

Thanks for the reply. I have a n3ds xl as well and I'm actually able to move left and right since there's a huge gap and I can even see the metal ring inside. I've heard it's intentionally designed like this tho. But for an o3ds, I'm not sure if it's normal in this case.

Thanks for the reply. By no movement on the right side I mean the hinge becomes quite stiff on the right side in opposition to the left side where it wobbles a lot.

Only the left-side hinge has this problem. I could see a tiny gap in the connection area and that may be the reason it's slightly movable. It feels pretty loose and when I move it, I hear sound coming from it. I don't know if the metal ring inside the hinge is damaged, but at least I can confirm...

Where can I get og 3ds screw set?

I saw many for the XL LL and the new series but mine is an og 3ds. I understand they are somehow hard to find so even if I'm unable to get them, eventually I'll just use the ones with same size and specs. But what size do they have? Note: I'm mainly looking for the ones for the back body plate...

Are the screws from the old regular 3ds the same as 3ds xl?

As the title. Thank you guys in advance. Edit: also what size do the shoulder button springs have?

Hardware Will pressing down the circle pad very hard damage it?

Alright thank you guys for your reply. I suppose that means even though there's support from the actual body, the inside mechanism is still breakable. Is that correct?

Not talking about moving it around with great force, but simply pressing it down extremely hard. I have a friend who likes to do this saying it's decompressing. He also said it would be okay to do that since the circle pad is always stuck by the edge of the round hole that the circle pad goes...
