    I bought a new micro SD card reader for my model 3DS. Gonna look into swapping that in to see if that's the issue and I will also try cleaning all the contacts with some isopropyl alcohol. Will try and update when I get to it today or tomorrow most likely.

    I'm fairly certain the battery is not the issue. Never had an issue with it before and is doesn't look swollen at all.
