    I'm getting that same error when trying to install My Hero One's Justice or Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. I was able to install Xenoblade Chronicles 2 perfectly fine though.

    I can confirm it works. There was a weird hiccup where it generated a folder called CNMT and then an error stating the file inside couldn't be accessed because it was already being used. Clicked continue and pressed Download again and was successful.

    So there is no way of doing this without being on the latest version in emunand? Both my n3ds's are on 9.2 and I would like to keep it that way until rxtools supports 10.4 on n3ds.

    I find it funny that I couldn't find this guide when I needed it but a day later it pops up. I would like to add that if your JPN N3DS is under 9.2 (Mine is 9.1), there is no need to update sysnand to 9.2. Unintentionally, I ended up with a 9.1 sysnand and a 9.2 emunand and everything works...

    At this point, I'm confident enough to say that there is no risk in downgrading if the update files you downloaded are legitimate. Check that they match your 3ds model, check their md5 sum, make sure they copy to the microSD completely and make sure to unmount your microsd before you remove it...

    I've successfully downgraded 5 3ds to date with no softbricks of any kind. Only one was an o3ds.

    Wait. I'm confused because I thought when you make an emunand, it copies your current sysnand. How would you have an emunand different from the region your 3ds is from? Is there a tutorial? Very valuable info considering I'm planning to buy a JPN N3DS.
