ROM Hack Dragon Quest IX - Save Editor

Fantastic work. I really appreciate all the effort put into this! Very interesting seeing the guts of the game laid out in an orderly fashion... and in a language I'm fluent in. : )

I agree, my German was quite handy. : )

DS #4477: Press Your Luck: 2010 Edition (USA)

Mm, yeah that was cool. I always thought the spin tennis in that link felt more compelling. Particularly since Larson was a pretty shady character. I caught that documentary on that scandal. Really twisted what happened to him after the taping and later in life.

Gaming Japanese DS Games Playable Without Reading

Fuuun! Dairoujou, it's a tower defense game. Pretty damn fun, nice sprites. I know it's a bit off the target genre, but it's a solid game I hear nothing about.

Gaming NDS & Wii Titles Expected Week of 9th February 2009

Absolutely drool worthy. I'm snapping up a copy in the hopes they bring #2 over here to the states.

Gaming any RPG with a great storyline?

I think it's pretty ignorant to completely discount a game due to hype. Not that FFVII's plot is on par with Shakespeare (who people love/hate as well), but how can you say it's crap without giving it a fair try. It seems like you got through Bioshock enough to make a judgment. I didn't care...

Gaming What are some good Japanese puzzle games for English speakers?

Definitely have to give another vote for Slitherlink. I never thought much of it at first glance, but holy cow is it addictive. Kind of reminds me of Picross in that regard.

What do you call soft drinks?

Soda, but Coke was the dominant brand in the household. So it would get referred to as Coke occasionally.

    Free breakfast!

There was no way I'd be going to any Denny's around here when free breakfast is offered. Talk about a mad house!

    How old are you?

Lurked 06, Registered Recently. 28. Started off with an Atari 2600, moved on to hand me down Sega Master System. Seems grandma on the other side of the family had a Colecovision buried in her closet. That was odd. Still, for a 6 year old, it was something.

    Looking for a good anime.

For someone who likes Death Note, I'd agree with some of the previous posters on Code Geass. The first season in particular contains some clever and elaborate schemes that remind one of Death Note. As for other serious anime, I'd also suggest Juuni Kokki (12 Kingdoms). It has a very rich...
