    In my case, NVER has been updated midway just like you, but the downgrade went ok nonetheless. Are you sure it was softbricked ? Did you try to remove your SD card after the downgrade ? Mine was showing a black screen because of menuhax installed. After removing the SD Card it boot correctly.

    Eur O3DS, 9.9.0-26E. more than 50x try with menuhax : red pixels on top screen and freeze first try with ironhax: successful downgrade. the device automatically rebooted and bingo ! 9.2.0 ! I then used Browserhax to reinstall themehax and everything is ok ! Thank you very much "cpasjuste" !
