    If you're handy with a soldering iron, it's fixable by using the diagram supplied by Hayato 213. - You would run jumper wires from test points on the board, to whichever pin(s) on the adapter aren't giving continuity.     Quite possibly. I would try the following, in this order: a) A different SD card b) a replacement adapter (very easy to fit) c) look at the socket side.

    The 1 bit mode usually refers to a problem with the sd card reader, either the removeable adapter or the socket.     I wonder whether this is going to reach a point of being stagnant though, like the PS4 exploit which was dead in the water for almost 2 years because they couldn't crack the later versions of games which had the latest firmware requirements.

    That seems ridiculous and it also seems that the price of unity developed games would have to increase to the consumer. Either that or devs stop using Unity and games production suddenly takes a slump.
