    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

These games are currently not emulated by Final Burn Alpha upstream. Hence none of them will work in any of the RetroArch ports. Your only option is MAME at the moment.

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

It's actually already there under its European name Vulcan Venture under Konami. MAME hierarchy between parents and clones is arbitrary, probably based on what was dumped first. EDIT: In this particular case, the European version is the parent set, the japanese one the clone. I have a 3 weeks...

Sorry about that, was clearly marked as unplayable in my notes. List updated, keep'em coming!

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

@SoulSpawn no need to pm for bug reports :) Just post whatever you find and I'll gladly investigate/update the list when necessary. Please don't forget to state the version of the FBA Core you are using (it should be displayed in the bottom left of the screen) so I know we are on the same page.

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

New version of the list with "human readable" game titles is up. Same link as before. Turns out the titles themselves sometimes contain valuable information on the state of emulation in FBA (no sound, imperfect gfx, undumped ROM etc...). So please make sure you check before reporting bugs. It...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

Alright, here it is. FBA Wii Core Compatibility List (Parents Only). Two or three things: - Keep in mind I worked alone on this, some stuff may have slipped under my radar (1152 games is A LOT of games) - Human readable game titles will be added later on this week. - Testing was done with...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

Howdy all, I am currently working on an Excel compatibility list/bug report for FBA Libretro (Parents only - 1152 games). I have separated the games following the original categories in Final Burn Alpha (Capcom, CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, Cave, Data East, Galaxian, Irem, Kaneko, Konami, Misc (Pre...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

Freshly compiled from source: With HAVE_WIIUSE_MOD = 0 : left analog is fixed (ToadKing commit) With HAVE_WIIUSE_MOD = 1 : same as before (directions all mixed up) I tested by unplugging and plugging again to skip menus and start a game (FCEUmm) which uses 4 directions: (1942, Gradius...)...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

Sounds fair and reasonable enough! Thanks for the explanation =) The Mednafen_VB core seems to struggle a bit (on Android too). Any reason for that?

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

First things first, thank you and congrats on the new release RetroTeam! Very nice updates all around. I can confirm that. Happened with beta3 around when wiiuse mod was implemented. Compiling with HAVE_WIIUSE_MOD = 0 fixes the problem but probably annihilates all the work done on inputs by...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

I'm sorry, I can't seem to replicate any of the issues you are having. I've got a perfectly stable, flicker-free image. As for framerate, I can't discern any noticeable difference. Have you turned frameskip off in Fceu-GX and WiiMednafen before comparing? Could more people with a PAL set up...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

I have a Sony PVM-14M4 which used to be a decent monitor used in broadcasting and professional video editing. You'll find its specifications/manual etc here: http://www.broadcast...il.cfm?id=15997 EDIT: WTF at the prices on this site!? I got mine for 3500 Yen (35 euros)on Yahoo! Auctions. Crazy!

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

Hi there, I made some quick and dirty comparison shots. Snes9x-Next, Yoshi's Island, Point Filtering. 640x480i vs. 512x224p NTSC monitor, Japanese Wii, component cables (YPBPR), progressive scan turned off in the Wii settings. If need be, I can also take a shot of the same scene running off...
