    Pokemon has ONE company handling everything, so they can very easily match release dates, while Atlus leaves localization to other companies or subsidiaries, meaning it's not exactly their fault when two entirely different companies handle EU and US localization (most of the time, not true for all games).

    Not really, but move animations are entirely optional. I kinda wish it was the opposite, since I like move animations but hate how long the intro takes, especially for wild Pokemon... You CAN however open up the .NDS file with NitroExplorer or similar program and delete the animations if you know what you are doing, but it may cause issues. You could also edit them to make them shorter.
