    AFAIK when you update to the current dash, the update checks that you have stock firmware and then reflashes it to a version which can read the new format. It's only after that you can flash the LT+ 2.0 firmware... So you might have to 1) flash your drive to stock then 2) do the dash update and...

    XGD2 is the original (regular DL DVD) format used on the 360... so yes they work on pre-2.0 firmware but some games have AP checks (don't ask, just update to 2.0 and everything will work) perhaps the person who flashed your 360 could tell you

    I've just done mine, so while it's fresh in my mind here's how i did it: get a copy of the lite on stock firmware (there's about 7 versions but any of them will do) get a copy of the new LTplus2 firmware get a copy of your 360 drive's firmware (or at least the drive key) using jungleflasher...

    Fast, do you mean i have to restore the stock firmware before updating the dash (i can understand in cases where a non-Liteon drive has been spoofed to be a Liteon)? but if it's a Liteon drive with hacked Liteon firmware, surely the new dash will just rewrite your firmware to the new version anyway?
