I read the link, but that does not help as CleanRip isn't compatible with WBFS drives. I can do a syscheck tomorrow. auto I use Wii Backup Manager. I don't have any SD cards larger than 8 gigabytes, and it's full of stuff that I can't back up. I can't get any others. I'll try those other...- goatfatdoc

I got it new about 2 years ago, then about 1 year ago I installed homebrew. First thing I did was get USB Loader GX and use the d2x cios install and just ran it with default settings, which I think was d2x v6 rev 20016 base 37 slot 249. It says "Error accessing target." I can use Wii Backup Manager to add games and I can load games off of it just fine, so I don't think the drive is defective. I've also tried it with an SD card, no luck. I think that means that it's the Wii or wrong cIOS or something.- goatfatdoc

I guess I should specify more. I have tried CFG loader, USB loader GX, and WiiFlow. CleanRip is apparently not compatible with WBFS drives, so I have not tried that. I have the recommended cIOS installation for CFG Loader with d2x v10 beta53. What else do I need to say?- goatfatdoc
