    Definitely a GPU fault, considering it only does it with 2 SquareEnix games means it's obviously something they use that the faulty GPU is having problems with, get it swapped or fixed, also graphical glitches don't usually lead to console hacks, they can lead to exploits in the game itself...

    Now i may have misunderstood the syscheck but it does list the newest version of IOS56 on there, but does the fact it says disabled under the trucha bug lists etc. mean that he doesn't actually have it on? if that's the case then you are right, it's just a case of installing it.

    I'm guessing by the syscheck log that the wii's firmware is still on 4.1? so this may be the problem but after a quick search around i found that updating past that can kill region free on modchips, now i don't know if this is still the case but i would avoid it until someone else can confirm...

    For me the game loads fine using cfg usb loader v70 with d2xv6 in slot 249 with base 56 and ios reload block set to on, also with the same settings on ubs loader gx 2.3 but for me it plays fine up until the cutscene where Zelda falls then it won't load after that, it's getting a bit annoying...

    Does the UMD play through fine? if it doesn't then its more than likely the scratch that's stopping it as the PSP will be unable to read it, It wouldn't surprise me if one scratch ruins it, they don't encase a disc in plastic if it doesn't need protecting.

    Personally i would go with getting a bigger sd card, you can pick up 8gb ones for around £10 and just use the hd for wii games. Pick one up when you've got a spare tenner.
