    Watched a yt video and this makes sense now. He said "If you get a new battery on any kind of device and it doesnt work right out of the bat, its dead, its probably a battery that was sitting for a long time at a warehouse." The seller was kind enough to send me my money back though.

    Sadly no, it's not an OEM battery. I got it from a trust-worthy seller in Turkey that sells Nintendo stuff, he sent me another one aswell (same battery) and its giving the same results. I found the battery on aliexpress after i typed M1GW051 on google.
