    Thank you, games were installed on the USB HDD using a 64GB SD Card and the console isn't going anywhere and nothing is going to be installed on it for probably the next ten years, It wont even be online.

    It's a known issue, I remember having problems with this game, I don't exactly remember what thread I followed but this one should help. Basically you need to run the game with the least possible modifications. I remember it still crashed once or twice but it was very rare.

    Tried editing the save file wtih an Hex editor to show the same data as the generated PAL save at the begining of the file(Name and code of the game). It's now detected by the game but as a corrupted save file.
