Hacking How long should the patching process take?

it does take a couple of minutes, 15 minutes & more isn't unusual (at least on my pc, might depend on your system). If you want a progress report, try using the gui version of the patcher: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=106049

Hacking Possible workaround for 'green screen' problem with backup-loa

kinda depends on your tv-set. my tv set supports both pal and ntsc (i think most newer tv-sets at least LCD-HDTV sets do, at least here in europe) from what i've read around this forum, the backup loader itself seems to handle pal-isos way better, no matter what region the wii is it is used on...

Hacking Possible workaround for 'green screen' problem with backup-loa

    Hacking backup-creator gui version

what it does: =========== nothing special, just wrapped a very basic gui around waninkoko's backup-creator.exe so i don't have to call the command line each time I want to patch a game for the backup loader. usage: ====== simply doubleklick bc-gui.exe (can be located anywhere on your...

Hacking Possible workaround for 'green screen' problem with backup-loa

Sorry, can't tell you that, may also depend on your tv-set and wii region. I'll try to find my composite cable and try if it works with it... can take a while, i'm not exactly sure where i put that darn thing..

Hacking Possible workaround for 'green screen' problem with backup-loa

UPDATE: I can confirm that this also solves the "stuck at green screen"-issue with "Battallion Wars II"(NTSC). Game now starts (but cinematics are really buggy on this one, due to reduced loading speed).

Hacking Possible workaround for 'green screen' problem with backup-loa

At first: My setup: PAL-Wii, FW 3.2, hooked to a PAL/NTSC-Multiformat compatible LCD-TV via Component-Cable (YPbPr). I tried to use Pro Evolution Soccer NTSC but got stuck on green screen (like many of you seem to experience with some NTSC-games). I finally got it runnig by simply using...
