    I think I'm gonna go ahead and download the nsp file for Jackbox Party Pack 4 and install it and see what happens. Now that my Switch is banned, I'm not afraid to use DevMenu on it. ;-)

    Oh, I see what you're saying. Through the site. Interesting. I'll have to try that. auto I'm curious, will an eShop game like Jackbox Party Pack be able to connect to the internet since it's not connecting to anything Nintendo-based?

    If you're talking 4007 error, I'm not sure that's 100% correct. I can not get to the eShop at all from the console. I can, however, update games, which I thought was strange. Not sure about updating the console itself.

    On the bright side, at least for me, I have no fear of installing eshop backups now since there's no chance of this thing going online. :-) In the event that somebody comes up with a solid, working method of online play, I'll just buy another Switch for online use.

    That, and there may be other data they're not allowed to collect that we're not even aware of. Perhaps the answer is the use a VPN and register all Switches in the EU. I don't think it would affect much of anything game-play-wise. And may workaround the online issue.

    I do believe that answer may be geographically-related. That EU privacy laws are hurting Nintendo's efforts to see some needed data.

    I think it's important to note when something is speculation versus fact. You don't know why your hardware was banned. I performed those exact same actions. I used an original cert on multiple different backups and also went online with wiped certs. My hardware is not banned. I can still get...
