    Looks like Nintendo have set up horizon very well to identify non official activity. If Nintendo can ban/detect cfw even just for homebrew then they have successfully prevented me from going this route,glad online play will be cheat free!

    Read my above post,the problem seems to be Nintendo can detect if a cart is being loaded physically in the game slot vs internally/microsd,injecting your own cert or changing the header seems to be a temporary solution for some people but it will 100% be flagged soon

    So you don't think Nintendo will make a distinction between a shared cert that has been shared over popular piracy sites/torrents which have been downloaded/used 1000's of times vs someone buying and dumping a cart cert that may get used a few times? Nintendo are not going to kill off used...

    Right and i can't see nintendo really banning cart certs even if they detect the same cert connected online at the same time more than once because how can they prove who actually owns that cart,there not going to kill online play on used games. Now BBB releases and other well known shared...

    Thx Draxzelex & SomeGamer. It would be great if the softmod works on the revision units but the selfish part of me hopes nintendo has patched it so i can get the full benefit of my switch :D

    Not to go too off topic but what about switches over 3.0 but under 5.0? I've read conflicting reports stating basically it's going to take so long that you might as well update? 3.0.2 here

    The dongle is literally a ucb c male to female with some sort of memory attached within the enclosure ,once their method has been dumped i can see it being implemented into atmosphere not long after

    Bit of a technical question here but if Nintendo managed to add online in to old games does that mean they now run native and not emulated?

    This confirms Nintendo never intend to offer local saves which is very bullish of them. Online Retro fitted classics are really exciting to me ,not nesscairly nes but if they later bring in snes/n64 games to the service with online modes that would be steller.
