    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

i don't know what might be causing it (yet) but if tiers= has 2 tier names , numbers should have 2 as well. basically tiers is the name of each tier so that when you go back a tier wfl takes away one and opens the previous one. numbers is the source buttons' number's that you clicked on for...

if homebrew coverflow is set to smallbox it will use the icon.png in the apps folder. if you turn off smallbox it will use cover images from dev:/wiiflow/boxcovers/homebrew. these covers are just like the wii and gamecube covers. in fact some of them can be downloaded via gametdb.com. go into...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

all covers (wii, gc, plugins) have to be on the same device (sd or usb1). you can't have wii covers on SD and plugin covers on USB. in a plugin ini file coverfolder is just subfolders of the main box covers or flat covers paths. so if the main path is: sd:/wiiflow/boxcovers/ and the plugin...

so if you look in the wiiflow plugins folder you should find a N64 folder. inside it should be three plugin ini files - not64.ini, wii64.ini, and wii64_rice.ini. here they are: [PLUGIN] arguments=rompath = "{device}:/{path}/{name}"|SkipMenu = 1 bannersound=ZZ--Sounds/N64.ogg...

logs will not work if its not mounting the SD Card. you could go into main settings>partition settings and just try to change wii games partition to SD to see if it will let you. how many seconds is a long time? i know wiiflow waits for the usb HDD to spin up.

great! but it makes me wonder why wiiflow didn't mount your SD card or find sd:/apps/wiiflow? wonder if wiiflow isn't compatible with your sd card.

@Intoxicus5 you said apps/wiiflow and the wiiflow folder are on SD card, right? if so it seems to me wiiflow is not finding your SD card or is not finding sd:/apps/wiiflow. if thats the case then wiiflow will abort and exit. i wonder what would happen if you moved apps/wiiflow and wiiflow...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

@Intoxicus5 are you using SD card at all? is apps/wiiflow on SD or USB? how are you launching wiiflow? via HBC? a forwarder? are you going to vwii first? i was told a long time ago using a wiivc game works for only SD ... USB doesn't work. has that changed?

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

@Intoxicus5 obviously wiiflow doesn't mount your USB HDD for some reason. there is no default wiiflow_lite.ini. even if there was it wouldn't do you any good because wiiflow doesn't need it till after your usb hdd is mounted. which wiiflow fails to detect and thus exits to the HBC. one thing...
