    I also seem to be suffering from the problem which makes two error messages overlap, "No DVD" and "DVD Identify failed" when trying to boot any game backup'ed in the Backup Loader channel. I'm running 3.2E and have installed the "safe 3.3". I hope this is easy to fix.
