Homebrew [WIP] rehid:- Button remapping for 3ds

Quick related question - is there a way to easily download all the game IDs on my 3DS including the game names? If possible, for romhacks too (for example, I have Metroid 2 colorized and would love to swap the face buttons). That would be a ton easier than manually typing it from FBI!

Homebrew [WIP] rehid:- Button remapping for 3ds

I tried using the latest release here with OoT but the motion controls don't work - is this just a limitation I've gotta deal with?

Oh awesome! Is there a way to keep the motion controls in place too? I use them all the time for aiming in OoT.

Homebrew [WIP] rehid:- Button remapping for 3ds

I'm so dumb, thanks!! Oh, huh. That sucks, I hate how few games use them.

Homebrew [WIP] rehid:- Button remapping for 3ds

Mine crashes on boot. I'm using your most updated build above. Restarted holding select so I could enable game patching in Luma (I think I just have vanilla Luma, not sure how to check), put my json file in in rehid>[title id for Ocarina of Time], and it crashed (crash report attached). I tried...

Homebrew Reteoarch crashes when switching to Nestopia (Arm11 prefetch abort)

I do like virtuanes, but it doesn't let me change the save folder. I sync my save folder to dropbox using 3DSync (beta app from this forum), so being able to choose the save folder is pretty important. Does anyone know what could be causing this error?

Homebrew Reteoarch crashes when switching to Nestopia (Arm11 prefetch abort)

If I'm using an SNES core and try to load an NES game with Nestopia, I get the crash shown in the image below. This is just with Nestopia - QuickNES and FCEUMM load fine. Nestopia is by far my preference though, so I want to try to fix this. I've tried reinstalling the Nestopia core, same...

Homebrew Changing save location for NES/SNES emulators

I'm using Snes9x and VirtuaNES, but neither of them let me change the location the emulator saves to. I'm no good with coding so I can't figure out how to change this in the source code or anything. I know retroarch has this feature, but the SNES and NES emulators seem slower. I could be using...

Homebrew PCSX-Rearmed won't recognize bios file - how do I fix this?

Removed all of them from my 3ds except the 1001 (which is the correct file, I checked the hash). PCSX still won't recognize it, only allows auto and hle. Could I have a broken core or something? I downloaded retroarch like a week ago from the stable builds, it should be fine. I've got the...

Homebrew PCSX-Rearmed won't recognize bios file - how do I fix this?

Alright, so after more research, I've got all 4 bios files mentioned in that link, plus 5500 and 5502. Retroarch says in "information" that 5500, 5501, and 5502 are present (it doesn't even list the others). I've got them all lowercase, both filename and extension. They're in...

Homebrew PCSX-Rearmed won't recognize bios file - how do I fix this?

That didn't work either. Here's what I've got, see image. Above is what's in the folder, below is what I see when I set the bios directory in retroarch. I have no clue why PCSX won't recognize the file.

What could be going wrong then?

Homebrew PCSX-Rearmed won't recognize bios file - how do I fix this?

Trying to play SotN, according to the compatibility list I should be using 1001. The problem is that retroarch won't recognize the bios. I've tried: 1. Putting the file in /cores/system 2. Putting the file in /system 3. Putting the file outside the retroarch directory and changing the bios...

Homebrew Where does the 3DS store VC save states for ROM hacks?

I have some ROM hacks installed, technically as Snes9x emulator forwarders. Where does the 3DS put the saves? I can't find them.
