Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii or WiiU: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

Question: I have a 4.2U. If I upgrade it to 4.3U using ModMii, will I lose my BootMii installed as boot2 and will need a game to hack it again or my hacks will stay there untouched?

Hacking Virgin NAND + BootMii Restore

Ok, so if I update to 4.3 via ModMii I won't lose BootMii as boot2 right? So I can go back to 4.2 if it doesn't work? I tried the program, and launching Mii Channel worked for ~5 seconds, then I got the stupid error again =X After that, it just got the error whenever I tried to launch it...

Hacking Virgin NAND + BootMii Restore

Thanks for the (fast) reply! No, unfortunately my first backup was after the problem began... How can I check and update my IOS'es ? I went through ModMii but only find an option to overwrite IOS'es when saying that my original firmware is a 4.3 (which is not the case). I thought about...

Hacking Virgin NAND + BootMii Restore

Ok, this may sound like a noob question, but I'll ask it anyway... Can I restore to my Wii (via BootMii) a virgin NAND? This is why I'm asking: My wii is a 4.2U that suddenly stopped loading original games and channels (before it was softmodded). I tried softmodding it with ModdMii but it...

    Hacking SNEEK+DI quick guide

I've got UNEEK+DI to work and it works every time I boot it. So i tried moving to SNEEK+DI, and it only boots correctly ~30% the times I try... The other 70% I just get a black screen... I've tried SNEEK (no DI) and the same happened so it's not my USB HDD... Any ideas why that happens? Thanks...

Even BootMii is black and white now (also are the System Menu. HBC, etc) I tried booting a out of region game last night, maybe that was the problem? How do I get it back to normal now?

Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii or WiiU: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

Well I've used ModMii v4.3.4 and after doing all the procedure I used ModMii's USB Loader procedure. After that my Wii got all black and white... Doesn't matter if I change my TV to PALM, PALN or NTSC, it's still black and white... Here's my custom guide:

    Hacking An Error Has Occurred

I didn't have them when the problem started, so I installed them after the problem to try to recover it or at least identify the problem...

    Hacking An Error Has Occurred

Actually, I've tried USB Loader and got the same error message... And that, together with the fact that my Mii Channel doesn't work either, I *THINK* it can't be a hardware problem... Anyway I'm sure it's not a DVD Drive problem...

    Hacking An Error Has Occurred

Suddenly my never modded original Wii has begun to display "An Error Has Occurred. Please remove the game disk and turn the power OFF. Refer to the instructions manual for [...]" when I try to load any game, even the Mii Channel. I installed BootMii and Homebrew Channel and both run fine, even...
