    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

If the failing message is precisely "Reading certs failed" (I know that's not what you typed, but anyway), then it should relate to this piece of code below from trunk/source/tools.c: CODEÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂprintf("Reading certs..."); ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂfflush(stdout); ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂsprintf(filepath, "/sys/cert.sys")...

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

@DSPanther Like suggested by rooster, did you: - dump your NAND using FSToolbox 0.40 (mind the version) or SFSD? - is the NAND dump on the root of the device? - use either [Triiforce v7 + cIOS rev14] or [Triiforce v74 + cIOS rev 14/15] combinations? - install WADs via ShowMiiWads...

@metroid4life14 Two options: - switch to cIOS rev 14 ... OR - switch to Triiforce r74 (http://code.google.com/p/triiforce/source/browse/#svn/trunk/HBC) That'll do the trick.

@ miker1emu Try dumping it with FSToolbox and check if it works. @sparklex Great initiative man, let's keep this list updated! By the way, Megaman 9 works with "Normal Boot Method" over here.

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

I won't be available for testing for a while now (traveling... answering this from my laptop), but surely SFSD 0.2 was missing some files. I saw your new update nicksasa, hope it'll work. However, I wouldn't say that solves everything (thought it certainly solves issues for most problematic...

Ok, testing with FSToolbox 0.4 dump copied to USB device + cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r74. Results: - USB-Nand Megaman 9 + Normal Boot Method = Works! - USB-Nand Pokémon Rumble + Normal Boot Method = Black Screen - USB-Nand Strong Bad's Episode 1 + Normal Boot Method = Green Screen - USB-Nand Art...

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

Hey marc and WiiPower, I just did a test that never before occurred to me... here goes: - REAL-NAND Pokémon Rumble + cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r74 + Normal Boot Method = Black Screen - REAL-NAND Strong Bad's Episode 1 + cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r74 + Normal Boot Method = Black Screen - REAL-NAND...

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

Ok, results are in. I patched IOS 56 using regular DOP-IOS with Trucha-Bug, new syscheck can be found here: http://pwfriends.com.br/banks/wii/sysCheck_20091216_v2.csv Done that, test cases: - cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r74 + Load Apploader = Black Screen - cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r74 + Normal...

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

Thought that too marc, but if you take a look at my last post you'll see I used cIOS rev 14 for all test cases. I did so because Triiforce r7 seemingly works only with rev 14; with rev 15, no USB is detected. Triiforce MRC and Triiforce r74 work with cIOS rev 15 with no problems, though. Aside...

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

Ok Sparklex, I've tested Pokémon Rumble exaustively this weekend and got the following results: - cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r7 + Load Apploader = Black Screen - cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r7 + Normal Boot Method = Black Screen - cIOS rev 14 + Triiforce r74 + Load Apploader = Black Screen - cIOS rev...

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

Excuse my ignorance, but what other Triiforce version is there, other than triiforce_mrc? You mean I have to necessarily install both WADs to Real-Nand, or something else? I'm using Triiforce r74 + cIOS rev 15 to load USB-Nand, if it helps, by the way.

    Hacking TriiForce beta testing

So far, I've tested with success using both Triiforce [r7 + cIOS rev14] and [r74 + cIOS rev15], loading from SD-NAND, the following: - Bit.Trip Beat - Bit.Trip Core - Excitebike World Rally - Helix - Megaman 9 + DLC - World of Goo That's all fine. However, with both combinations, the following...

Hacking On an old version (3.2?) and wanting to update to 4.*

Well, while I do have a Wiikey which I believe takes care of loading disc backups, I very rarely use this functionality. Large USB media solved these problems for me. Also, I don't want to put any stress on the Wii DVD reader... to me, the less it's used the best. So, in short, I don't have a...
