Usually deleting Browserdata should be enough to get the exploit working again.

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Ok. I just downgraded again. Used the setup from here and the sysUpdater version from here. I also used the sd card that came with the console as I don't own a sd card smaller than 64gb ... and to my surprise it worked out. My new change.log looks like gunner007's and seems to be normal after a...

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Based on my experience with the shop I bought this in it's quite a gamble. If you get the right person there I guess your mom would be right.

Actually I would need to deliberately brick it and then return it with the premise that this is the state it came in. The 14 day return policy only works for online purchases which this one wasn't.

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Well, I thought that maybe 10.3 would be a more stable base for downgrading than some hybrid between 9.8 and 9.2. Although I guess there is not much 9.8 in there. My advice would be to change nothing unless somthing is not working. My o3ds got some non downgraded titles too but none of those...

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Well, from what I understand sysUpdater will simply install the cias over the existing ones while "upgrading". The downgrade option on the other hand uninstalls the title first and then installs a new one. ... and in case of a hard brick I could try and get the shop to replace it since I just...

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

He doesn't I guess and I don't think he is wrong. Going out of this with a non bricked N3DS on something <10.4 seems truly unlikely. Based on how quickly it crashed chances are that no matter which way I go it will crash again.

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Yeah, based on the time it took till it crashed I already expect that. So which sysUpdater do you reckon is the best for the process since there are a few hundred to choose from (or so it seems)

Didn't expect you to. I am right now going from the Bargaining-Stage to the Depression-Stage in the 5 Stages of Loss and Grief.

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

So I tested around a bit. Cakes crashes and EmuNAND9 throws me right back to the HBL. I also figured out that my native_firm is 2.50-1 the 9.6+ one which I most likely kept from my original firmware. Starting a second downgrade attempt seems like the most obvious choice right now. However do I...

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Okay, awesome thank you guys so much. I guess I will start with trying to run cakes if it works I won't fuck with it. Otherwise another downgrade attempt it is.

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Got my o3ds on first try to. Thought I would grab a N3DS as long as I still have a failsave. Maybe not my lucky day. Maybe I should wait till tomorrow and learn those luck rituals. Guess that can't hurt. Although I reckon that it won't work since it happend really early on and the native_firm...

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

Well lucky(?) me can still use the system and all it's function perfectly fine. It's just that not all of my system was downgraded and I am just trying to figure out what the best way of handling this is. Here is hoping that it will turn out fine and I won't have to update to 10.4 (or get a...

    Hacking Incomplete downgrade with N3DS

So I got an incomplete downgrade with my N3DS going from 9.8 to 9.2 (or at least trying to do so). After a few .cia files it crashed with the "an error occurred"-message. I checked my downgrade files and everything and I guess it was just bad luck. With 10.4 released updating via Internet to a...
