    I've held out so far! Launch system, day one firmware, airplane mode. But it's getting harder and harder for me to hold off, with Pokopia getting all the praise that it's getting. Is there any reason to still hold out hope, or has everyone else already given in?

    Thank you for the help - that worked!! The pre-boot period for each game has a 2-3 second blank screen now, but it always ends up working and proceeds fine from there. And navigating the Ui has sped up again too. So, next time, do I still need to "update my sigpatches" using zips from this...
