After some trial and error i was able to make a functioning channel for loading a GameCube game. The process was a little bit difficult and i don't know if i should write a guide for it because i still think it can be made easier, it's just that...
My biggest concern with the current status of the project is how it freezes on Wii hardware sometimes, I suspect it has something to do with how filters are implemented and it's possibly leaking memory somewhere, that's probably what I'm gonna...
I'll look into Wii U stuff once I get more time to dedicate to this project. I appreciate everyone enjoying the emulator while patiently waiting for the next update :)
Version 1.2.1 has been uploaded to GitHub.
(hopefully) fix timings for 50hz/576i users
If you've downloaded 1.2.0 and don't live in a PAL territory/don't run your Wii at 50hz you can probably skip this update as that's the only change this...
Version 1.2.0 has been uploaded to GitHub.
Now supports loading from ZIP (.gba, .gb, and .gbc, as well as .sgb and a few other obscure filetypes)
Real-time clock support
Added GBC boot palettes for GB games (emulation type must be set as Game...
Thank you all for your testing and feedback. I'll see if I can look into the output resolution, since 240p and 224p run at the same hz theoretically I should be able to implement it but I would need to take a deeper dive. Fixing the audio with...
Version 1.1.0 has been uploaded to GitHub.
-Classic (non-tabbed) selection menu now consolidates GB/GBC/GBA roms into one list
-Rom paths are now cached after viewing the first time on boot, so switching between tabs/returning to the game...
I not entirely certain whether or not they would work, but I would assume they do. If your forwarders load mGBA from /apps/mgba/boot.dol, you can try replacing the .dol with mGBA-GX's and reporting back if they work or not. I didn't touch any...
This looks very promising! I love mgba but I always wish I could of had cover art for the games (now I can).
Would my forwarder I've been using for mgba work for this? I've been using Flo's forwarders for all the emulators I have on the Wii...
