    It would be really hard to manufacture something like a cartridge with a USB port into it. Plus, it would be like running a cartridge that's unsigned, just wouldn't work.

    I've never heard anything about PAL Twilight Princess having issues. It's pretty much the same game, slightly better graphics on the wii, but if you're worried get the GC version. I, personally, wouldn't be worried though.

    CSO to me is not worth it. ISO's are way more reliable and it's the way the games are made in the first place.

    Plasma Dragoon is right, but also if you cannot modify any files on the card your reading device may be broken as well, it has happened to me a few times. ARe you using a USB or SD card adapter? Try a USB one, the SD card adapters have proved very untrustworthy for me.

    If Recuva didn't work, you're probably screwed. To back them up you can just periodically copy the files on the card to your computer. That's the easiest and most simple way to do it.

    X360Key is the way to go. It's actually pretty simple. It's a little pricey, but easy to install and very useful.
