    Hacking Help getting M3 to work

    can somebody please help me. my daughters had a ds lite and i have just got htem a dsi xl for xmas, i am testing their 'm3 ds real' chips in them and they dont work. do dsi xl support these chips, if so how can i make them work, i need an idiots guide as i have not a clue what im doing please
