    I pirated a lot of games. I also bought a lot of games, I'd say upwards of $7000 - $9000. Seriously! I bought a lot of Genesis-SNES-PSX-Saturn-PS2-XBOX-GCN-PS3 games, a lot of them brand new. I'm probably underestimating what I spent on all these. Let's just say I don't feel guilty at all...

    If I were you, I'd stop relying on pre-made packs like those CNX and GNX you're mentioning. They bring more problems than they solve. Why not do it by yourself? You know what you need better than some stranger building a pack. So I suggest starting from scratch and following a good guide...

    Thanks, Blythe93. I'm mostly like you, I don't use the Switch for much more than playing Switch games. I'll let you know how the update went. Open xci? Do you mean installing an xci file? That can be done with DBI, and a few other installers.

    Actually, the proper question to ask would be where to buy an SD card, so you won't buy a fake, as I guess fakes are probably often branded as SanDisk.

    Make sure you're using the latest DBI. Currently, it's v849. Use the Russian version, just to make sure no tomfoolery is happening because of a hacked english version. It might also be your XCI that is defective. Do check its integrity with NxFileViewer. If it's broken, find another source...

    NxFileViewer should display the minimum firmware for a given nsp file. You'll need recent prod.keys to run it.

    Trusting a pre-made pack is risky. It might work, but it might also mess up your system, as you experienced. It's much safer to do it manually. It might take a little more efforts, but you spend less time troubleshooting, if something went wrong. Check this guide created by @impeeza
