    I could definitely reformat it in the wbfs format, but that would mean losing GameCube compatibility, unless Nintendont still recognizes it as it is currently, but nonetheless it probably won't if I use wbfs or so I've heard. While the Wii games did not work, in either WiiFlow nor USB Loader GX, it still recognized the games in the menu and probperly booted into it through cIOS.     And to answer you, I've always used the bottom-most USB port since plugging the middle/top one, makes USB Loader GX wait 20 seconds and never launch. However, USB Loader GX says Port 1 in its splash screen even though it's on the bottom port. Is that normal?
