    When Im in HxD the number im replacing doesnt seem right. Starts with 7 and has a bunch of numbers. Is it because the xci was trimmed? Ive tried two different main.npdm files

    I'm wondering this too. After reading this entire thread I've noticed everyone here has opened their friends list. People who opened it and weren't banned said they were later banned (possibly from opening it).

    Thanks! You pretty much answered everything I needed. Stinks about the complications of save backups. Guess I'll upload my Pokémon to poke bank and call it a day. Once I restore through system setting everything hack wise will still be intact. CIAs will install still?

    So with all the buzz going on I imagine i should update from a9lh to boot9 Can I format to remove everything and my nnid and will it stay hacked? Can I backup my saved for a potential future ds? Thanks!

    I think I may have found a fix for the black screen problem. For everyone getting this you need to delete you settings.bin file. It's likely you transferred it from 1.5.1 which is causing the problem. Deleted it and smash boots now.
